we want to go to either zante or rhodes however was wondering which island is the best to go to in october,what is the weather is like in october and is it busy enough,i don’t want to go where loads of shops and bars and clubs will be closed,we want to go early october.Thanks

im goin zante in 4 days time an im so scared of sharks. does someone know if sharks circulate in the Ionian or Medditerian Seas? i no their in cornwall at the moment however i dnt go there! i dont wana jump off a boat and into jaw’s mouth!
plus, how expensive is it to eat and drink etc?

There last year, You are more likely to jump on a turtle if you jump in the sea at this time of year as they lay their eggs on the beaches around Laganas. Prices are fairly reasonable, if you are going to the Planos area then Friends bar is a must. Tell Yani and Ilios hi. Watch out for Ilios, bit of a womaniser. I wish I could go to Zante however can’t get away till next year. The place is fantastic.

Which airport do you fly to if you are going to Zante, and leaving from Liverpool John Lennon Airport?
A few mates have gone there, they are due back tomorrow and I have to pick them up, however I have been on the website, and none of the departure destinations seem to be from Zante…

its just outside zante town

Passport, mobile phone, ipod, Charger, Sun Glasses, nueofen tablets, digital camera, papers for flight and hotel….. that’s what i take with me.

As you are going to Zante check out the site http://www.zante.co …. I also booked my excursions before I went and that way I took less money with me.

Zabte is a pretty island, with wonderful beaches, however be careful with the steps that you give, there are a lot of forgotten landmines there !

I am offf to Zante in Sep with my friend i was wandering what clothes girls are wearing in the evening to get idea of what we need to buy? Also we are staying in the olympic apartments are they any good? And is there any hot greek guys there? And how much money do we need for a week?

Zante is amazing! My hubby & I go there as often as possable, our favourite place is Tsilivi, the beach is great, the water is warm & inviting and you can spend hours lying there watching the world go by!! Never been to the olympic apartments, however we have stayed in a few different hotels, they are always clean, however pretty basic, however you don’t spend that much time inside anyhow, even at night it’s warm, the night life is fantastic, for all ages, and even though I’m married, I must say, some of the guys are stunning! Everyone dresses differently, so I don’t think it’d matter what you wear, mostly floaty dresses at night, unless you don’t do dresses!! Just wear whatever, all I can say is go & have the time of your life, you could go round the whole island by car in a day, it isn’t that big! Let’s just say, if my hubby & I ever won the lottery, we’d move to Tsilivi right away, it’s so freindly & welcoming, resturaunts are great, and for a breakfast you can’t beat popeyes, we go self catering, and usually we have £50 per day, which is plenty, just remember to buy a bottle & have a few before you go out, as sometimes the drinks are pricey, however a lot of bars do a special, like all cocktails 3 euros. I’m so jealous of you now I want to go back!! Have a ball, you’ll love it!!!

Me and Mates are going on holiday In August and most of us are going to be 17 although we have one mate coming who will be 16.
we where either going to go to Zante or Cyprus and just wanted to find out which country we would be better off going to where we would be less likely to have a problem with drinking alcahol considering our age?

Zante, Zante and cyprus are both lovely places, i have been to both places at the age of 15 and was able to buy alchohol in both countrys, zante was alot easier to get alchohol because everyone there is so layed back and relaxed.

We wil be staying in the Laganas resort.

go shopping.
we always go to greece, however we go to a place called rhodes.
take a day trip to falaraki water park.
or lindos.
depends what you like.
