I have been djing in malia for the last 3 years… I am bored of there now… I play mainly House & Electro to a fantastic standard, I also can play Old skool garage & bassline & some uk funky… Season’s coming close quickly & I need to know where’s the best place to go & why please???

i know Ayia Napa is big on funky house and garage and stuff
so yea Ayia Napa

also i know that alot of ppl from UK go 2 Ayia Napa, probably more than Malia or Zante so it seems like that would be the better choice so you can get your music heard by more ppl

I did Zante about 12 years ago. Loved it.

I hired a moped for the holiday, quite cheap transport. I went up to Smugglers cove by road.

Am surprised the boat is still there. I did a few boat trips, Blue Lagoon being one of them. Take mask and snorkel as the water there is crystal clear and well worth the dip.

Kalamaki has changed quite a bit over the past few years and the resort is now spread out over a fairly large area. Fortunately most of the development has been concentrated on the main Kalamaki to Laganas road leaving the beach area and back roads relatively undisturbed. The original character of the resort is still there. The bars, restaurants and people who first made it popular are still here. The Cave Bar shown left, has hardly changed over the years, and still offers something unique. It’s the closest resort to the airport and although there are no night flights, several planes land just after 6.00 AM. Only the western part of the resort is affected and otherwise the resort is fairly quiet and relaxing. It’s a good location, close to Laganas, Zante Town and Argassi. Laganas is only a five minute taxi ride away, and taxis run until the early hours of the morning. Don’t worry if you don’t have a pool as there are plenty of pool bars which are open to the public.

I want a holiday for 2 people around 5/10 minute drive of Laganas, somewhere a bit quieter. This is for the last two weeks of September and self catering. Any suggestions of places meeting this criteria would be good as I dont know the names of any other towns in this area. Any good sites to find a suitable hotel/apartment would be great, cheers all

Tsillivi is a great place, a bit more than 5/10 minutes from Laganas however quieter and really nice. I’d definately recommend it, we booked through Thomas Cook and stayed at the Tsillivi Beach Hotel self catering, was really nice. I wish I was going back it was lovely!

Hello,

Me and my boyfriend are looking to book a summer holiday to Zante for 2009, however are unsure of where to stay. The main priority is to have a nice sandy clean beach, however it is also important to be somewhere where there is a good nightlife – not a clubby area however somewhere where there are plenty of bars and nice restaurants.

If someone can suggest a good place to stay I would be very grateful!

we stayed here is was nice a short walk from the beach with the protected turtles on…. a small strip of nice bars and a little further sown the road was the big nightlife town……..

these are nice self contained apartments, with a swimming pool.
