Boat rental in Alykes, Zante?

Hi all, I am going on holiday to Alykes in Zante in just over a week and I have been doing a bit of reading about the island. I have read that you can hire a boat for the day and explore the island yourself, however I cant for the life of me find any prices.

Is there someone that has been there that can give me an idea of the price to rent a boat for a day?

Thanks for the help Sam, however I was thinking about smaller 2-6 man boats, not yachts.

Do you mean like a city break?
What time of year?

How about London, assuming you’re not from there?
I found London to be the most vibrant city and with the most to see and do. During the summer the weather shouldn’t be too bad there either.

Ahh, Zante. Beautiful place. It’s usually quite warm around this time of year, however when I was there it did rain a few times. Try checking the world forecast on CNN.com.

Look up the hotel on this website, and the people who post entries sometimes tell you all about the resort too.

Not much price diff, now they have the euro. Used to be cheaper before.

It friggin’ needs to be. last time I was there (a couple of years ago) the airport was a shed and didn’t even have modern checking in facilities.

It was played in zante this summer in all the restaraunts. Obviously part of it was in greek. There was the occassional line however sang in english. The one line i remember is ‘i like, i like, your broomstick’

Can someone please tell me who sings it and what its called.

Nope, I’m not from Laganas, however I just got back from zante, however generally the weather all over Greece in September is still great and hot. Maybe in the evening it becomes a little chilly, however not much.

I love love love Budapest. There’s a lively club culture, however you can relax and do cultural things as well. Everyone is extremely friendly. Most people that I met spoke excellent English. And the best bit is that the drink is plentiful and cheap!
