Have heard it will be very wuiet off peak and not many bars or clubs will be open. Any info greatly appreciated!!

There is emerald villas in agios nikolaos (I haven’t been there) which the pool is included. I remembered this site because I was searching accomondation in Zakinthos for my summer holidays.
Also there is a very nice traditional luxury villas complex in Tsilivi, which is called “paliokaliva”.

My best friend and I are looking to go away for 7 days at the start of October. We would like to try Zante (probably close to Laganas). Will the bars and clubs still be busy? And, will it still be hot enough to sunbathe all day?!

I went to Corfu last year and was shocked by the amount of wasps on the island. Could someone tell me if they have had a similar problem in Zante as I know they are quite close together. And what time of year they went…many thanks…

I went to Zante with my family about a year and a half ago. We went around May. There were a few wasps, however not enough to cause a major problem.

However, i would recommend you take insect bite/sting cream with you. There is always a chance you could bump into a few, and even a few weeks can make the difference in the number of wasps around that.

Enjoy yourself. We found the view from the mountains stunning.

offered a job in rescue – really excited however i have never worked in a bar before. its a big club and unbelievably busy. im stressed just thinking about it! how the hell do you even remember which customer you’re serving when you turn back to give them their change? lol.

When i worked on a bar on a busy saturday night i found that the best way to work is just to take your time and try not to do too many things at once! Basic i know, yet i have personally tried to do more than one thing at once and forgotten someones order! It comes down to experience, however just make sure you hear and understand the order then calmly get it ready and get the money! Finally, to avoid antagonising customers, try to work steadily down your section of the bar, then go back to the start and do it again.

Oh and smile… Always nice to be tipped!

last time I went it was about 15euros I think however that was a few years ago. It’s only a 15 minute drive so shouldn’t be too much.
